Our Boarding Policy:All pets must be at least 16 weeks old – no exceptions.All pets admitted to the hospital must be current on all required vaccinations:Dogs: Distemper, Parvo, Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Rabies and Canine InfluenzaCats: FVRCP (Distemper, Upper Respiratory) and RabiesThese vaccines must have been administered by a veterinarian and we require written or telephoned proof of vaccination.All admitted pets must have had a complete physical examination performed at our hospital within the past year. In addition, boarders must have had a negative intestinal parasite screen (fecal exam) result within the past year. This is for the safety of all of our patients. If a pet needs these procedures, they will be performed and charged accordingly.All pets will be examined for the presence of fleas and ticks upon admission to the hospital. Pets who have any ticks at all will NOT be admitted for boarding. If your pet has ticks, please treat him/her for ticks a few days before your boarding reservation. Pets with fleas will be treated (administration of a commercial flea product or bathed) at regular charge to the owner.Amber Cortez (Receptionist)Amber is cross trained as a receptionist and veterinary assistant. She is a graduate of Alvin High School and mother of two beautiful daughters. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, her dog, exercising, and motivating others to be the absolute healthiest.Jeanette Lopez (Receptionist)Jeanette has been a very loyal employee to the Animal Hospital of Santa Fe with many years of service. She has wonderful customer service skills and is very passionate about helping animals. She and her family live in Santa Fe, TX and are active in their church. She has a long list of fur babies at home whom she cares for in her spare time. Crystal Jones (Receptionist)Crystal joined our team in 2015 and is very passionate about helping animals. In her spare time she enjoys baking and rescuing animals. Rebecca Rodriguez, LVTRebecca is a Licensed veterinary Technician and gradate of the Houston Vet Tech Institute. She is very compassionate about caring for animals and has a very through knowledge when it comes to animal care. In her spare time she enjoys fishing, hunting, and rescuing animals to find them homes.Cachet Roberts (Veterinary Assistant Student)Cachet joined our team in 2014. This Georgia native is passionate about caring for animals. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, hanging out with friends, swimming, and spending time with family.Kristin Espitia (Veterinary Assistant Student)Kristin joined our team in 2015. She is currently working in her Veterinary Technician certification via distance education through Cedar Valley College in Dallas, TX. In her spare time she enjoys going out to eat, movies, the social scene, and spending time with her fur baby and family.Courtney Kainer (Veterinary Assistant Student)Courtney graduated from Santa Fe High School in 2015. She joined our team in 2014 and is currently working on her Veterinary Assistant certification. In her spare time she enjoys food tasting, drawing, spending time with her horses, and her mom.Victoria Scales, CVAVictoria joined our team in 2014. She is passionate about helping animals and grew up being active in the livestock industry. In her spare time she enjoys attending livestock shows, shopping, and spending time with her son.Brittany Smith, (Veterinary Assistant Student)Brittany joined our team in 2014. She is from Arizona and has a strong passion for helping animals. She loves her many pets including her pet rat. In her spare time she enjoys watching Netflix and spending time with friends and family. Lacey Glover, MS, CVA (Website Designer)Lacey has been married to Dr.Todd Glover for over thirteen years and they have two children. She graduated from Santa Fe High school in 2000 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from The University of Texas at Tyler. Her pets include many dogs, cats, ferrets, horses, pigs, and livestock. Lacey has been a public school Educator for the past eleven years teaching Medical Science education classes to high school students and Technology Applications to elementary age children. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, starbucks coffee, spending time with family, creating artsy things, and reading.
